Is there a young writer in your house?
Here’s something I ran across while scanning tweets on Twitter.
Authors Anne Mazer and Ellen Potter are holding a short story contest for teens. Winners receive an autographed copy of their book Spilling Ink: A Handbook for Young Writers, plus publication on the Spilling Ink Creativity Blog.
The contest is open to stories of 1,000 words or less by an author 13-16 years old. Learn more here.
The Spilling Ink web site is full of resources for teen writers (and older writers, too). Worth a visit no matter what your age.
