Weekend Assignment: The Question Is the Answer

I love to read profiles of local folks and national celebrities. I’m particularly fond of the Q&A style profile because the interviewer’s questions are right out where everyone can see them. If you take the time to think about them, they can show you how the interviewer approached the subject. Is there an order to the questions? Which questions led to follow-ups? Good questions lead to detailed answers, and detailed answers can make a piece worth reading.

For this weekend’s assignment, your task is to create a set of interview questions you think would make an interesting Q&A profile. Your interview subject can be anyone, real or imagined. Think of questions beyond the run of the mill. Shoot for 5-10.

The Show and Tell Challenge

Step right up and take the B&B Show and Tell Challenge! Here’s how: simply write your response to this assignment, post it on your blog, then come back and leave a link to your post in the comments. It’s that simple! (NOTE: If you take this week’s challenge, be sure to tell us who you would interview.)
