Is Technology Killing Your Grammar?

Text messages, Facebook statuses, Tweets — if you write any of these, you probably resort to techspeak as shorthand to save both time and space. Which is all fine and good until that LOL or emoticon sneaks past your internal editor and lands on that otherwise professional-looking email you just sent.

Is constantly trying to say more with less damaging our ability to write properly? It’s something to think about. This infographic by OnlineCollege.org takes a look at how techspeak is changing the way we write.
